Wedding Photos Part III: The Manor + The Dress

Hello lovelies! Today I am so excited to show you some of my favorite photos (I mean I love them all but these are all just

gorgeous

). First up I have some photos of the venue,

Susquehanna Manor

. I was so happy with the venue we chose! The owner, Fred was the nicest guy and did more than he needed to or was expected to do to make the house and grounds look just gorgeous. What I loved on our first tour of the house was the eclectic, vintage feel to the entire house and just the simple beauty of it all. To be honest, I was a little worried about how everyone would fit in the yard because it isn't very large, but it was perfect and made the evening feel intimate and flowy. But that's enough from me, time to show you the photos!

Fred renovated the house to look as original as possible and most of the decor pieces are 100% original vintage. It's just a really cool place. And it's sort of hidden in a grove of trees on top of a hill and you can't see the house from the road until you drive up the curvy driveway. So magical!

I love love love this window photo. I'm not sure why but I think it just captures the beauty and mystery of the Manor.

So this post is going to be long. I'm sorry. But if I don't make this post a two-fer then it will take another  two weeks to get through the four hundred some photos! Now I shall share the photos of my gorgeous, gorgeous dress as well as photos of my in it and my mom and my maid of honor, Lauren, helping me dress in a non-weird way.

Goodness I love my wedding dress so very much! It's a

Casablanca

gown, which I totally recommend to other brides because the company hems the gown for free (which is huge for me since I'm so short) and they always keep every gown they've ever designed in stock. I'm a lazy butt and didn't feel like going through all the Casablanca dresses to find the number of mine so if you're really that curious feel free to search through and let me know. Ha. My favorite thing about this dress is that it looks similar to the

dress Grace Kelly wore

in

To Catch a Thief

. I always, always, always said that my wedding dress would look similar to that dress and it does except it has sparkle which is awesome sauce.

Heck yeah, it took two people to get me in that dress. But it had to be tight or else I'd be falling out if you know what I mean!

This honestly might be one of my favoritest photos int he bunch. Lauren looks so pretty!

I think these pictures look like a shoot for a magazine! It's insane! Oh I do want to mention that the necklace I'm wearing is a simple diamond heart pendant that was my great-grandma's, then my grandma's, then my mom's, and now it's mine!

That's all for this week! Next week there shall be tons and tons more wedding photos. Get excited people!
