Market Haul

Fridays might be my favorite day of the week. Not because the weekend is coming (everyday is like a weekend for me since I'm on maternity leave) but because Friday is the day that I go to

market

. I've spoken before on my love for Central Market and that love has not wavered. I love the community at market, I love the creativity you see at each stand, and I find it so inspiring. I loved the colors of the goodies that I got this week (some from last week) so I thought you may as well. Today was also my first time leaving the house alone since William was born and everyone at market asked where the baby was. Apparently they like seeing the baby more than me.

My market shopping list this week included more than is pictured (I didn't want to unwrap the meats) but pictured above is:

fresh

parsley

fresh

sage

a gigantic

sweet potato

gala apples

adorable little

shallots

a

lemon

 and a

lime

super fun

candy cane beets

an

orange

Not pictured but on my shopping list is:

a half pound of our favorite

turkey bacon

two boneless

pork chops

 (a steal at $4.99/lb)

half a pound of

spring mix

(every other week I buy a pound)

a quarter pound of

baby spinach

bananas

peeled

garlic

 (peeled garlic lasts longer)

an

avocado

freshly squeezed

apple juice

 and

orange pineapple juice

And how gorgeous are these flowers?! If I have cash leftover after buying food I spend it on flowers. This is just one of the bouquets I made out of what I bought. I was able to divide it all into three separate arrangements. Check out my

Love,

Abby
