Making Grateful Lists

During the Thanksgiving season, it is a popular time to give thanks and show gratitude. I propose that we all work on being more thankful every single day. It's not hard. It only takes a few minutes. And it will change the way you feel about life day to day. Seriously. I propose that we each take five minutes (or less) everyday to be grateful. Here's how you can do it yourself...

Just about everyday for the last few weeks I have made a mental list of things I am grateful for. It only takes a few minutes, and I can think about it while doing the dishes or folding laundry. But the impact is huge.

Through the daily nonsense of life, things can get away from you. You can start dwelling o the bad and the ugly instead of the good and the beautiful. So instead, take those few minutes and instead of thinking about everything that is going wrong, think about everything that is going right.

If you journal, dedicate a section in your daily journal for a grateful list. Let us all dwell on the good instead of the bad. Because all things good come from the Lord and that is why they are

so

good.

How are you grateful everyday?
