One of my favorite fall drinks is apple cider. Hot or cold. With caramel or with cinnamon. With rum or without rum (but mostly with, am I right?!) Especially when it's cold outside, cozying up with a warm cup of hot apple cider is just perfect.
I've decided to kick the normal hot apple cider up a notch by adding orange juice, cranberries, fresh ginger, and more yumminess.
Throw everything in a crockpot and forget about it for a couple of hours while you prepare the rest of your holiday festivities. As soon as your guests arrive, serve them a mug full and they will immediately feel right at home. It's one of those drinks that warms you all the way down to your toes. Even though I
snow, I can't wait to make a batch of this on the first snow day.
